At this year’s edition, which brings together the top students from across Croatia, FOI students truly excelled – securing three first-place wins along with other high rankings:
- Dora Grofelnik – 1st place (Tax Accounting)
- Patrik Šantek – 1st place (Financial Accounting)
- Laura Kronast – 1st place (Managerial Accounting)
- Nikolina Tumpak – 2nd place (Managerial Accounting)
- Patricia Štih – 3rd place (Managerial Accounting)
The Accounting Battle takes place in March, organized by eSTUDENT, and consists of two challenging rounds – an online phase with theoretical and computational tasks, and a live finale where participants solve real business cases. In this competitive environment, FOI students demonstrated exceptional knowledge, analytical skills, and readiness to tackle complex problems.
The competition also connects students with leading organizations from practice. This year’s premium partners included Crowe Croatia, Pliva Croatia, Croatian Chamber of Auditors, Lidl Croatia, and Deloitte, while the finale featured Forvis Mazars, Data-Link Unija Smart Accounting, and Privredna banka Zagreb.
This outstanding achievement is yet another proof of the quality of FOI’s programs and the dedication of its students.
