Alongside the traditional Karijerni špancir in the FOI exhibition space, a new feature this year was Karijerni Blitz – job interview simulations involving more than 60 students with support from 20 employers. The activity received extremely positive feedback and provided students with valuable experience preparing for real selection processes.
Particularly engaging were the panel discussions addressing artificial intelligence and the future of youth employment. It was highlighted that AI brings new opportunities and will create an entire range of new jobs. Students are therefore encouraged to prepare for the labor market during their studies, be proactive, and participate in additional activities that will make them more competitive.
Professional workshops offered insights into different segments of modern business, covering topics such as application development, ERP systems, business and systems analysis, SEO, pitch preparation, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and project management. The program was further enriched by observing Cybersecurity Day through a lecture and panel discussion.
Strong emphasis was also placed on student creativity: the first FOI Game Jam competition was held, where teams had 24 hours to design and develop innovative video games, proving to be an ideal combination of knowledge, teamwork, and student enthusiasm.
Once again, FOI demonstrated itself as a hub for knowledge exchange, experiences, and opportunities for the professional development of young people.
