From September 16 to 18, 2026, the 37th International Scientific Conference CECIIS – Central European Conference on Information and Intelligent Systems will be held in Varaždin, organized by the University of Zagreb Faculty of Organization and Informatics.
On Wednesday, July 22, and Thursday, July 23, 2026, the University of Zagreb Faculty of Organization and Informatics (FOI) hosted a seminar and a workshop dedicated to the application of generative artificial intelligence (GenAI) and large language models (LLMs) in scientific research. In April 2026, the implementation of the three-year research and development project Dynamic Contextual AI Orchestrator for Data Security and Green Process Optimization – DCAASO and AgriGuard EOS (PK.1.1.12.0110) commenced. In Varaždin on Monday, 2 June 2026, a public presentation was held of the Environmental and Social Management Plan (ESMP) for the project of construction and equipping of the new research infrastructure of the Faculty of Organization and Informatics, University of Zagreb – FOI 2.
