Poziv na pozvano predavanje

U petak, 1. travnja od 10 do 12 sati u dvorani 1, dr. Enrique Mu, profesor sa Sveučilišta u Carlowu održat će pozvano predavanje na temu "So you want to be a CIO? (Technology is the easy part)". U to vrijeme se za studente diplomskog studija neće održavati druge nastavne aktivnosti (seminari, vježbe i sl.), kako bi mogli obavezno prisustvovati pozvanom predavanju. 

Osim njih, svi ostali studenti i djelatnici Fakulteta također su pozvani na predavanje.

Based on his experience as VP of customer support for technical projects in the Latin American region, his research in the area of IT management, and his recent experience as academic member of the IT selection committee for the City of Pittsburgh, Dr. Mu will explore some of the issues that CIOs have to deal with when managing the deployment and usage of novel information technology and the characteristics that, in his experience, good CIOs must have.

Enrique Mu, Co-Director of Carlow University’s MBA program, is an accomplished scholar and a seasoned international businessman. Prior to joining the academia, he led banking automation projects in Peru, Colombia, Venezuela, and Chile. He was later in charge of Black Box Corporation’s distribution network in the region. He holds a PhD from the University of Pittsburgh, where he was MIS program director and faculty member for more than ten years. His main areas of interest are the management of IT innovations and managerial decision making. His work has appeared in EDUCAUSE Quarterly, Journal of Decision Systems, Journal of Electronic Commerce Research, Journal of Systems Science and Systems Engineering, The International Journal of Public Sector Decision Making, and other academic outlets.
