Laboratory for data mining and intelligent systems

Laboratory for Data Mining and Intelligent Systems conducts research and education in the field of data analysis and intelligent systems.

Laboratory goals

An aim of the laboratory is to conduct research and education in the field of data mining and intelligent systems in cooperation with national and international educational and research institutions and local governments.

Laboratory activities

  • Exploring trends in the development of methods and tools in the field of data mining and intelligent systems,
  • Application of methods and tools in the field of data mining in various problem areas, primarily in the social sciences,
  • Development of intelligent systems by combining data mining techniques with multicriteria decision making methods,
  • Implementation of scientific and professional projects and preparation of scientific and professional papers, studies and analyzes in the field of data mining and intelligent systems,
  • Organization and implementation of trainings and workshops in the field of data mining, intelligent systems and complementary fields,
  • Networking with actors connecting the field of data mining from academia, industry and the public sector.
