Laboratory for Forensics, Biometrics and Privacy

Laboratory for Forensics, Biometrics and Privacy is an organizational unit of the Faculty founded with the aim to foster research in the fields of biometry, privacy and computer forensics.

Laboratory Activities

  • Development and maintenance of research infrastructure - LFBP provides laboratory space, computer equipment and specialized biometric devices, enabling research work in the fields of biometrics, digital forensics, security and privacy
  • Scientific research work - scientific research is conducted in the domains of biometrics, digital forensics, security and privacy
  • Projects and technology implementation - LFBP works on project applications and implementation in cooperation with industry, research institutions and the public sector, with the aim of developing practical solutions
  • Lifelong learning and education - organization of seminars, workshops, courses and involvement of students in the work of the Laboratory through laboratory exercises, final/postgraduate theses and practical projects, thus building the capacity of experts in the fields of biometrics, digital forensics, security and privacy
  • Collaboration with industry, public institutions and other research organizations - LFBP establishes partnerships for the transfer of knowledge, technology, joint projects and application of research
