On Tuesday, December 8, 2020, the kick-off meeting of the international strategic project in higher education titled TEACH4EDU4 - Accelerating the transition to Edu 4.0 in HEIs was held by the project coordinator - the Faculty of Organization and Informatics (FOI) of the University of Zagreb. The 30-month project is funded under the Erasmus + program of the European Commission in the total amount of 296,845.00 euros.

Faculty of Organization and Informatics of the University of Zagreb is a leading institution in the international project „Accelerating the transition towards Edu 4.0 in HEIs“ (TEACH4EDU4) which will be financed from Erasmus+ Programme – Strategic Partnerships for Higher Education (Key Action 203).

Project TEACH4EDU4 will start in November 2020, and the duration is 30 months (until May 2023). Total project budget is 296.845,00 EUR.

The 31th edition of the CECIIS conference was successfully held from October 7th to 9th as a virtual event. The CECIIS Program Committee awarded the authors of this year's best paper and announced CECIIS 2021 topic and date. Read more below.

As the organizer of the CECIIS 2020 conference, The Faculty of Organization and Informatics (FOI) and European Distance and e-Learning Network (EDEN) present the final program of this year's conference edition with the theme 'Intelligent Systems: Trends, Future, Society'. Please note that the CECIIS 2020 Program Committee brought the decision to turn the conference into a virtual event with the welfare of all attendees, speakers and employees being the primary concern. Dear CECIIS 2020 participants, we are glad to inform you that, as part of this year's conference program, two academic panels will be held - on first and second day of conference. Panels will be held online and will be open to all interested participants. Read more below.

Please note that the CECIIS 2020 Program Committee brought the decision to turn the conference into a virtual event with the welfare of all attendees, speakers and employees being the primary concern. Therefore in-person CECIIS 2020 conference is necessarily canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic and associated government regulations, advisories and travel restrictions.

We cordially invite you to submit research papers and to attend the 31st Central European Conference on Information and Intelligent Systems - CECIIS 2020. Also, we invite all authors to communicate with us all their needs for further deadline extension: ceciis2020@foi.unizg.hr. We would like to remind all authors about the possibility to publish their reviewed and accepted papers also in Croatian language.
