The final conference of the scientific project HELA – Improving HEI maturity to implementlearning analytics was held on 25 February, 2025. at the University of Zagreb Faculty of Organization and Informatics (UNIZG FOI). This significant research project, funded by the Croatian Science Foundation, brought together leading national and international experts with the goal of improving the educational process through learning analytics. The project was led by Prof. Nina Begičević Ređep, Ph.D. with Prof. Diana Šimić, Ph.D. as the co-leader.

During this academic year, the Joint Creative Classroom (JCC) was successfully implemented as part of the Program Analysis and Development course, led by Assoc. Prof. Zlatko Stapić, PhD. The second edition of JCC was organized in collaboration with the company SPAN, providing students with a unique opportunity to apply their acquired knowledge to real-world projects and prepare for a professional environment.

The 36th Central European Conference on Information and Intelligent Systems (CECIIS 2025) brings together researchers, academics, and industry professionals in Varaždin to discuss disruptive technologies as key drivers of innovation and their impact on science, technology, and society. This year’s theme, "Designing Innovation through Productive Disruptions", highlights the power of change-driven innovations, with an exciting new addition—an online session.

This initiative comes in response to student requests for more hands-on content and reflects FOI’s commitment to providing relevant skills aligned with industry trends.
The Student Support and Career Development Centre (CPSRK) at the Faculty of Organization and Informatics (FOI) has announced a scholarship opportunity for students. The scholarship amounts to 100 euros per month and will be granted for a period of 10 months.
