The University of Zagreb, Faculty of Organization and Informatics (UNIZG FOI) once again confirms its excellence at the international level – the undergraduate university study program Information and Business Systems (IBS) has earned the prestigious international ASIIN accreditation. This is a significant recognition that confirms the high quality of the study program, its alignment with European and global standards, and its relevance in today’s dynamic labor market environment.
The QUOKA project, with a total value of €1,020,712.23, officially kicked off with a meeting held on April 15, 2026, at the University of Zagreb, Faculty of Organization and Informatics. The project is jointly implemented by Triple-Innovations Ltd. and FOI, with co-financing from the European Regional Development Fund through the Competitiveness and Cohesion Programme 2021–2027. It is an ambitious research and development initiative aimed at creating Quoka CPQ – an advanced next-generation AI platform that transforms how companies manage complex B2B sales processes.
The Faculty of Organization and Informatics also participated this year in the MUZZA Science Week, which took place from April 9 to 12, 2026, at the University of Zagreb Rectorate (SEECEL).

From March 23 to 27, 2026, the Vice Dean for Teaching and Students, Associate Professor Zlatko Stapić, PhD, Associate Professor Kristina Detelj, PhD, Head of the Entrepreneurship Laboratory, and Izabela Oletić Tušek, Head of the International Relations Centre, visited Penn State University in the United States as part of the Erasmus+ mobility program. During their visit, numerous contacts were established, and concrete activities were agreed upon, focusing on future joint programs, student and staff exchanges, and strengthening institutional cooperation.
At the University of Zagreb, students at the Faculty of Organization and Informatics (FOI) are participating for the second academic year in interdisciplinary projects that bring together economists and IT specialists. These projects allow students to develop key skills needed in a modern business environment through practical work on real-world problem-solving tasks.
