On 5 and 6 November 2024, a conference on Challenges in Transforming Education and Enhancing the Future of Education in the Gulf Countries, organized by the Gulf Arab States Educational Research Center, was held in Kuwait. Professor Divjak held an inspiring keynote speech entitled Reimagining Education: What is the Role of Humans in the Era of AI?.
As part of the Corporate Management course at the Graduate Study Program Economics of Entrepreneurship, an invited lecture by Professor Mark Thomas from Grenoble École de Management (GEM) was held on the topic "Strategic Entrepreneurship and Weak Signals".
FOI’s partner university, the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences, Faculty of Business and Economics, organized an Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) titled “International Communication and AI.” The program ran from September 30 to October 18, 2024, with the final week (from November 14 to 18) organized face-to-face in Amsterdam. Two faculty members and nine students from University of Zagreb Faculty of Organization and Informatics participated in the BIP.
On Thursday, October 24, 2024, University of Zagreb Faculty of Organization and Informatics hosted a gathering of career advisors on the topic “The Role of Career Centers and Employer Collaboration in (Re)Accreditation Processes.” Organized by FOI's Center for Student Support and Career Development (CPSRK), the event brought together nearly 40 participants from 35 educational institutions across Croatia.
The Erasmus+ mobility at the University of Łódź from October 13 to 19, 2024, marked the first teaching and training mobility between the Faculty of Organization and Informatics and this university, conducted by Teaching Assistant Marija Maček. The focus of this mobility was on enhancing academic cooperation, exchanging teaching methods, and developing new opportunities for project collaboration. During her visit, Assistant Maček conducted laboratory exercises in the Programming Web Services course. This mobility has strengthened the potential for future joint projects and initiatives between the two faculties.
FOI's Career week – the most important point of gathering for FOI students and their future employers is happening from October 21 until October 25, 2024. This year's event brought together representatives of around 70 companies and provides opportunities for students to engage in expert workshops, panel discussions and a conference as well as to connect with employers in the informal part of the event.
On 4th October, 2024, the initial online meeting of the Erasmus+ project SuMoS - Strengthening the ecosystem for sustainable student mobility was held.

The University of Zagreb Faculty of Organization and Informatics (UNIZG FOI) held an Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) called “BIP4BIPs” for teaching and non-teaching staff from September 22 to 28, 2024.
Throughout September, University of Zagreb Faculty of Organization and Informatics hosted a Summer school organized jointly by FOI and its partner engineering school ESIEA from France. The program, which was held from September 2nd to 25th, 2024, involved 23 students and 4 professors.
