This valuable international accreditation places FOI among the top 1% of educational institutions globally that meet the highest standards of excellence in the field of management and business education. It is a significant achievement that confirms the quality of FOI’s teaching processes and the continuous improvement of its study programmes.
The EFMD (European Foundation for Management Development) accreditation is a mark of excellence and international relevance for educational institutions, and for FOI, it represents a strong confirmation of its growing position within the international academic community. The three-year accreditation further strengthens the international visibility of the Faculty of Organization and Informatics, paving the way for broader cooperation with leading global institutions, enhanced student exchange opportunities, and the development of international careers for both students and academic staff.
“This accreditation confirms the high standards of our academic programme and teaching processes, and it is a recognition of our longstanding efforts. It opens up new opportunities for students in terms of international mobility as well as academic and professional development" - said Dean Prof. Marina Klačmer Čalopa, Ph.D. upon receiving the accreditation.
FOI’s study programmes are recognized for their interdisciplinary approach, combining essential knowledge in both informatics and economics to prepare students for success in a digital and globally competitive business environment. The Faculty continuously invests in the development of modern curricula, ensuring that students have access to the best educational practices and remain competitive in the global job market. Receiving the EFMD accreditation further confirms that the Faculty of Organization and Informatics is today a nationally and internationally recognized institution in the field of higher education.
