Kick-off Meeting of the Erasmus+ Project "My Robot, My LearnMate"
On Thursday and Friday, December 12 and 13, 2024, the kick-off meeting of the Erasmus+ project My Robot, My LearnMate was held. This project brings together experts from various fields with the aim of developing innovative solutions for the application of humanoid robots in educational processes. The University of Zagreb Faculty of Organization and Informatics (UNIZG FOI) participates as one of the key partners, led by Prof. Igor Balaban, Ph. D., contributing to the strengthening of interdisciplinary collaboration and innovation in education.

The solution 'OTP Student – Discover the Path, Pack the Success' was declared the best at the OTP & FOI InnoFusion Hackathon, with the winners receiving their prizes in the newly equipped laboratory classroom

FOI signed new bilateral agreements for the exchange of students and staff with universities from the Czech Republic, France and Lithuania
The University of Zagreb Faculty of Organization and Informatics actively expands its partner network of international universities every year. For the academic year 2025/26 until 2028/29, in addition to already existing partnerships, the Faculty signed three new bilateral agreements with prestigious universities in the Czech Republic, France and Lithuania.

FOI Students and professor participated in the Erasmus+ BIP at the Faculty of Information Technology and Computer Science at the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences
The partner university of FOI, Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences (AUAS) in the Netherlands, organized the Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Program (BIP) for the fourth time in a row, this time titled “IOT for Humanity”. Ten FOI students and one faculty member participated in the program, which took place from October 7 to November 23, 2024. The final week of the BIP was reserved for participants' stay in Amsterdam.

From Varaždin to the USA: connecting with American universities for the internationalization of education

Prof.dr. Violeta Vidaček Hainš visited the University of Cincinnati in Ohio, USA from November 10-16, 2024. She delivered several lectures for students and presentations for teachers and staff with topics linked to the cross-cultural communication competences, COIL - collaborative online international learning teaching method. She shared information about the upcoming 13th Students Research Symposium on Intercultural Learning and about the 15th Student section of the CECIIS international conference.
