Assoc. Prof. Igor Pihir, PhD, was elected President of the Association; Full Prof. Katarina Tomičić-Pupek, PhD, was elected Vice President; Ana Kutnjak, M.Econ., was elected Secretary; and Larisa Hrustek, M.Econ., was elected Treasurer.
In accordance with the Association’s Statute, members of the Presidency were also elected. The Presidency consists of the President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, the Dean of the Faculty ex officio, and the elected members Dejan Drabić, M.Inf., and Sanja Hren, M.Inf.
Full Prof. Sandra Lovrenčić, PhD; Assist. Prof. Matija Novak, PhD; and Assist. Prof. Bogdan Okreša Đurić, PhD, were elected as members of the Supervisory Board.
The newly elected President, Associate Professor Igor Pihir, expressed his gratitude to the members for their trust and emphasized that one of the main goals of his term will be to increase the number of active Association members. He highlighted the importance of strengthening connections among alumni from different generations and announced upcoming gatherings of former student generations at future events, aimed at fostering collaboration, exchanging experiences, and further networking within the alumni community.
Full Prof. Marina Klačmer Čalopa, PhD, member of the Association’s Presidency and Dean of FOI, emphasized the importance of continuous gatherings of the FOI alumni community at the Faculty, noting that a strong and well-connected alumni network contributes to the development of the Faculty and strengthens cooperation between the academic and business sectors.
In the coming period, AMAC-FOI will continue organizing activities aimed at connecting and networking former students, associates, and friends of the Faculty, with the goal of further developing and empowering the FOI alumni community.
