The Faculty of Organization and Informatics Board members participated in the 2026 EFMD Deans Conference, entitled “New realities, bold choices: Reinventing the business school”, one of the most prominent international gatherings of deans and senior leaders of business schools and faculties worldwide.
As part of the Analysis and Program Development (AiR) course, students once again had the opportunity to work on real-world software development projects in close collaboration with industry partners, bridging academic knowledge with professional practice through project-based and team-oriented learning.

The invited lecture, titled “Consequences of a sedentary lifestyle and work, prevention and risk management with practical examples”, was delivered by renowned kinesiology expert Mario Starek.

Since July 4, 2025, the digital diploma registry, which is part of the ISeVO system, has been connected to the e-Građani system. This connection provides Croatian citizens, including former and current students of the Faculty of Organization and Informatics (FOI), with easy and secure access to their diplomas and other final documents in digital form.
Prof. Blaženka Divjak, PhD, Full Professor with tenure at the University of Zagreb, Faculty of Organization and Informatics and Head of the Learning Analytics Laboratory at FOI, has been elected president of the Society for Learning Analytics Research (SoLAR), the leading international organization in the field of learning analytics.
On Wednesday, 28 January 2026, a thematic session titled “Artificial Intelligence and India: Opportunities for Students, Research and Cooperation” was held at the Faculty of Organization and Informatics (FOI) in Varaždin. The event was jointly organised by the Embassy of India in the Republic of Croatia and the University of Zagreb Faculty of Organization and Informatics. The session brought together representatives of the academic community, IT industry, public sector, and diplomacy with the aim of strengthening cooperation between Croatia, the European Union, and India in the fields of artificial intelligence, education, and research.

The OpenCode.HR platform for collaborative open-source software development in Croatia’s academic and scientific community has been launched. The platform provides a secure environment for developing, sharing, and adapting open-source projects, promoting transparency, openness, and knowledge exchange.
