Prof. Blaženka Divjak Assumes the Presidency of the International SoLAR Society

Full Professor Blaženka Divjak, PhD at the University of Zagreb Faculty of Organization and Informatics (UNIZG FOI) and head of FOI’s Learning Analytics Laboratory, has been elected President of the Society for Learning Analytics Research, the leading international organization in the field of learning analytics. She officially assumed the presidency at the annual Learning Analytics and Knowledge Conference 2026 conference, held in Bergen, Norway, in late April 2026.

AI innovation accelerating business: QUOKA project worth over €1 million launched

The QUOKA project, with a total value of €1,020,712.23, officially kicked off with a meeting held on April 15, 2026, at the University of Zagreb, Faculty of Organization and Informatics. The project is jointly implemented by Triple-Innovations Ltd. and FOI, with co-financing from the European Regional Development Fund through the Competitiveness and Cohesion Programme 2021–2027. It is an ambitious research and development initiative aimed at creating Quoka CPQ – an advanced next-generation AI platform that transforms how companies manage complex B2B sales processes.

FOI and Penn State University: strengthening collaboration through mobility, innovation, and entrepreneurship

From March 23 to 27, 2026, the Vice Dean for Teaching and Students, Associate Professor Zlatko Stapić, PhD, Associate Professor Kristina Detelj, PhD, Head of the Entrepreneurship Laboratory, and Izabela Oletić Tušek, Head of the International Relations Centre, visited Penn State University in the United States as part of the Erasmus+ mobility program.
