The 15th Student Online and Poster Section CECIIS 2025 is gathering a large number of students from different countries. The chairs of the CECIIS Student Section are prof. dr. Conference “Learning Design in the AI Era” held
Around one hundred experts discussed the future of artificial intelligence (AI) in education. From June 30 to July 2, 2025, several events took place as part of the Erasmus+ project Innovating Learning Design in Higher Education (iLed) and the Croatian Science Foundation (HRZZ) project Trustworthy Learning Analytics and AI for Sound Learning Design (TRUELA).

Erasmus+ SuMoS project kick-off meeting held in Varaždin
From 16 to 18 December 2024, the Erasmus+ SuMoS project kick-off meeting, fully titled Strengthening the ecosystem for sustainable student mobility, was held in Varaždin, organized by the project coordinator, the University of Zagreb Faculty of Organization and Informatics. Faculty of Organization and Informatics celebrates 50th anniversary
The Faculty of Organization and Informatics (FOI), a constituent of the University of Zagreb, celebrated its 50th anniversary of establishment and 62 years of existence on December,18th, 2024. A ceremonial session held at the Croatian National Theatre in Varaždin gathered the extended FOI community, including employees, students, partners, and friends of the Faculty.
FOI signed new bilateral agreements for the exchange of students and staff with universities from the Czech Republic, France and Lithuania
The University of Zagreb Faculty of Organization and Informatics actively expands its partner network of international universities every year. For the academic year 2025/26 until 2028/29, in addition to already existing partnerships, the Faculty signed three new bilateral agreements with prestigious universities in the Czech Republic, France and Lithuania.

CECIIS 2024 held with a focus on Cyber-Physical and Embedded Systems
The jubilee 35th international scientific conference CECIIS 2024, Central European Conference on Information and Intelligent Systems was officially opened on Wednesday, September 18th, 2024, at the Faculty of Organization and Informatics (FOI) in Varaždin. The conference, which lasted until September 20th, gathered a large number of scientists, researchers, representatives of the academic community and industry, from 14 countries and 3 continents.
