Eleven young researches on this year's CECIIS Student Poster and Presentation section
This year's Student Section, organized within the CECIIS 2022 international conference, will gather 11 young researchers. The Student Section will be held on the first conference day, Wednesday, September 21st from 02:00 - 06:00 pm. The topics of their research are not only related to the use of information and communication technology, but also to a wide range of interdisciplinary areas.

Faculty of Organization and Informatics was among the first faculties at the University of Zagreb, in the status of coordinator, that applied for and implemented the Erasmus+ blended intensive programme - BIP, called "Transform to sustain: Sustainable future enabled by digital transformation". Project IC4HEDS - Certificates awarded to the students
On Thursday, 31st March 2022, last activity of the IC4HEDS project - Intensive Courses for Higher Education Students, was held at Faculty hall at Faculty of Organization and Informatics. The event regarding certification awards was held for students who successfully participated in intensive learning course programs about Digital transformation and Industry 4.0. Students were awarded with 2 ECTS points for each program.

FOI provides the opportunity to study and work for Ukrainian students and teachers affected by the war
Aware of the seriousness of the situation and the catastrophic consequences that have befallen the entire academic community in Ukraine, where normal work at universities has been disabled, the FOI has offered Ukrainian universities the opportunity for students to continue with their studies and for scientists and teachers to continue with their work.

VIDEO: Intensive works on the renovation of Villa Oršić
The Faculty of Organization and Informatics is expanding its capacities and will soon move into the new building - Villa Oršić, which should be completely renovated by the end of this year at the latest. With the renovation, this space will become a new incubator for the development of research potentials and the implementation of teaching and extracurricular activities of students and scientists at the FOI. There is intensive work on the interior and exterior design of the space, which was filmed by a drone by students and members of the IOT Lab FOI. See a snapshot of the restoration here.
