This year marked FOI’s fifth participation in the EAIE Conference, reflecting the Faculty’s continued commitment to strengthening its international presence and cooperation with institutions around the world.
For the first time, FOI also officially participated at the Study in Croatia national stand, which provided an additional opportunity to present the Faculty to the international academic community, increase its visibility and hold meetings with both prospective and existing partners.
During the conference, FOI representatives held a series of meetings with existing partner institutions, as well as with prospective partners from Egypt, Türkiye, the United States and other countries. The discussions focused on strengthening existing forms of cooperation, developing new partnerships, promoting student and staff mobility, and exploring opportunities for participation in future international projects.
FOI’s participation in the official conference programme was particularly noteworthy. FOI was the only Croatian institution represented in the programme of EAIE Glasgow 2026. Izabela Oletić Tušek took part in the poster session together with Susan Loubet, Director of the International Relations Office at ESIEA, FOI’s partner institution in France. Their poster presentation showcased part of the research and results related to promoting student mobility opportunities arising from the international SuMoS project.
FOI’s participation in the EAIE Conference once again confirmed the importance of international networking for the Faculty’s development. It provided a valuable opportunity to exchange experiences, strengthen existing partnerships and establish new contacts that may develop into future forms of cooperation.
