Through this partnership, FOI students will have the opportunity to acquire advanced knowledge and practical skills in cybersecurity by integrating the Palo Alto Networks Cybersecurity Academy program into existing study courses. The curriculum combines theory and practice, enabling students to develop practical skills and tackle simulated security challenges while maintaining a direct connection with industry, preparing them for responsible and safe action in the digital environment.
What this partnership offers FOI students:
- Advanced technical knowledge and practical skills – students will gain expertise in network security, infrastructure protection, cloud security, security architectures, and cybersecurity threat management through work on real-life scenarios and laboratory exercises.
- Internationally recognized certifications – by completing selected courses and educational modules, students will have the opportunity to earn Palo Alto Networks certifications, further enhancing their competitiveness and employability in the domestic and international job market.
- Integration of theory and practice – through collaboration with partner company Cratis, FOI students will be able to directly apply the knowledge gained at the Faculty in real-world professional environments.
For many years, FOI has systematically developed its study programs and specialized courses in the field of information and cybersecurity, with growing student interest in this area. Cybersecurity remains a continuous focus at FOI throughout the year. Through a variety of curricular and extracurricular activities, professional events, and the development of guidelines and recommendations for cybersecurity, the Faculty consistently strengthens security awareness and responsible digital behavior within the academic community.
