The sixteenth FOI International Days took place at the University of Zagreb Faculty of Organization and Informatics in Varaždin from May 15 to 17, 2024. The central theme of the event was Sustainable Partnerships. This year, we hosted a record number of international participants. Almost 60 teachers, researchers, experts and students from 10 countries across three continents (Europe, North America, and Africa) attended the event, with nearly 350 participants taking part in the three-day programme. FOI International Days 2024 were organized by the FOI International Relations Office.
During the 61st anniversary celebration of the Faculty of Organization and Informatics at the University of Zagreb, Assoc. Prof. Ing. Peter Márton, Ph.D., was honored with the prestigious "Friend of FOI" Charter by the Faculty Council. This annual award recognizes international associates for their exceptional contributions and efforts in fostering strong ties with our institution.
Six students and two teachers from the Faculty of Organization and Informatics of the University of Zagreb participated from July 8 to 16, 2023 in the Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Program (BIP) entitled "BEST - Boost your Entrepreneurship Skills in Transylvania". BIP was held in the city of Targu Mures in the center of Transylvania, and the topic of the program was the development of student's entrepreneurial skills and innovation-oriented behavior, as well as the exchange of knowledge and culture in multidisciplinary and international teams for the purpose of preparing and modeling entrepreneurial projects (start-ups/spin -offs).

Faculty of Organization and Informatics was among the first faculties at the University of Zagreb, in the status of coordinator, that applied for and implemented the Erasmus+ blended intensive programme - BIP, called "Transform to sustain: Sustainable future enabled by digital transformation". Aware of the seriousness of the situation and the catastrophic consequences that have befallen the entire academic community in Ukraine, where normal work at universities has been disabled, the FOI has offered Ukrainian universities the opportunity for students to continue with their studies and for scientists and teachers to continue with their work.
