In the summer semester of the academic year 2025/2026, the Faculty of Organization and Informatics will host a record number of exchange students – as many as 30. The students are coming from France (ESIEA and Epitech), Slovakia (University of Žilina), Germany (Karlsruhe Institute of Technology), and the Republic of South Africa (University of Pretoria).
To ensure a warm welcome and help them settle in during their first days, the FOI International Relations Office is organizing Welcome Week with the aim of helping students get to know each other, become familiar with the Faculty and the city, and connect with FOI lecturers and students.
In addition to the official welcome and introductory presentation about UNIZG FOI, as well as course presentations in English, informal social gatherings and fun activities are organized in cooperation with FOI Student Buddies, such as a pub quiz and a treasure hunt. FOI Buddies will also take part in this part of the programme as the first familiar faces for the new group of international students.
