This year, the conference will be dedicated to the role of artificial intelligence in the modern business and technological environment.

Keynote Lecture
Ivan Šimičević
He was born in Zadar in 1985, where he completed primary and secondary school. In 2010, he graduated from the Faculty of Economics at the University of Rijeka, majoring in finance and banking. He began his career in banking in 2011 at OTP Bank in Zadar in the Retail Banking Sector. After holding various positions within the Retail Banking Sector, in January 2016 he became the Head of Sales, where he actively contributed, among other things, to the implementation and development of digital and modern solutions. From January 2017 to December 2018, he led the entire project of integrating OTP Bank and the former Splitska Banka, which remains the largest bank integration ever carried out in the Republic of Croatia. Following the successful integration, in December 2018 he assumed the position of Senior Director of the Sales and Marketing Directorate, where he remained until May 2019, when he became the Bank’s Procurator responsible for the Operations and IT Sector. Since March 2021, he has been a Member of the Management Board responsible for the Digitalization and Operations Sector, under whose leadership the euro implementation project was successfully completed and a new mobile banking service for individuals was launched. In addition to his remarkable contribution to the implementation and promotion of numerous digital initiatives, Ivan continuously works on his professional development, particularly in the field of Artificial Intelligence.
