Conference 'Learning Design in the AI Era'

The final conference of the iLed project, titled "Learning Design in the AI Era", will take place on 1 July 2025 at the University of Zagreb's School of Medicine. The event will explore how artificial intelligence is reshaping learning design in higher education and beyond.

The conference will provide an opportunity to discuss some of the key issues in contemporary higher education:

  • What is the outlook for applying artificial intelligence in education?

  • How can we develop meaningful learning design?

  • What can we learn from best practices at renowned European universities?

The discussion will include formats such as expert debates and interactive workshops related to learning design, international experiences in implementing e-learning, and new approaches to teaching and learning.

The iLed project was carried out by the University of Zagreb Faculty of Organization and Informatics as the coordinator, in collaboration with the University of Zagreb School of Medicine, Goethe University Frankfurt (Germany), the University of Oulu (Finland), and the Open University (UK).

The project included a series of activities aimed at promoting the use of innovative learning design and learning analytics in higher education, along with further development of the Balanced Design Planning (BDP) concept and tools: learning-design.eu.
