The implementation of joint interdisciplinary projects as part of continuous monitoring in the courses of the informatics and economics studies was initiated by Full Prof. Sandra Lovrenčić based on education on innovations in education aimed at universities. In addition to her, Full Prof. Nina Begičević Ređep, Assoc. Prof. Dijana Oreški, Asst. Prof. Nino Vlahek and Tena Jagačić, mag. oec. are also participating in mentoring and evaluating the projects.
Interdisciplinary student teams are tasked with proposing a solution to a given problem, with the students from the Information and Business Systems study responsible for analyzing the data set and developing the model, and the students from the Economics of Entrepreneurship study responsible for developing and evaluating alternative solutions and developing a marketing strategy for the selected solution.

Teams consisting of students from the course Artificial Intelligence for Business Applications (Information and Business Systems study, specialization Artificial Intelligence in Business) and students from the course Business Decision Making (Economics of Entrepreneurship study) defended the first phase of joint projects they are developing within both courses.
