The goal of this three-day event was to inform and exchange experiences and ideas related to international cooperation and action. The FOI International Day, held on Thursday, May 16, 2019 as a central event within FOI International Days 2019, is one of the most successful events in FOI, and within it there were several important lectures held and panel discussion on innovative approaches in education in international classrooms.
Lectures were held at FOI by Susan Loubet (ESIEA), Judit Trombitas and Norbert Nagy (University of Pécs), professor Henry Muccini (L'Aquila University, Italy), professor Glenn Smith (University of South Florida), professor Tung-Cheng Lin (The National Taipei University of Nursing and Health Sciences) and Eva Malichova and Emese Tokarčikova (University of Žilina).
We have achieved great success in internationalization, so we currently have 20 students from partner universities from France and Belgium who are staying with us at FOI this semester, and this is a great event for us and for our city. Likewise, we also need to encourage our students to go to international partner universities, so we have been organizing this event for many years now - FOI Dean Full Prof. Neven Vrček, Ph.D. said.
A significant number of students have had the chance to hear all the information on Erasmus+ study programmes and professional practice abroad, from the numerous lectures and informative counters of visiting universities and partner faculties.
