Students presented the results of the COIL - Collaborative Online International Learning project (28th May 2026). The innovative COIL learning method was implemented 2018 at FOI and is coordinated by Prof. Dr. Violeta Vidaček Hainš. During the past winter semester 2025/26, COIL was implemented in the Human Resources and Career Development course, 3rd year of the undergraduate study program Information Technologies and Business Digitalization, co-leded by Prof. Dr. Marina Klačmer Čalopa, and associates assistants Dr. Karolina Kokot and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Katarina Pažur Aničić. The head of COIL at the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences (AUAS) is professor Andreia Carita, and at the University of Pretoria, Republic of South Africa, Prof. Dr. Machdel Mathee.
The CECIIS 2026 conference announces an extension of the paper submission deadline to 15 June 2026. The Faculty of Organization and Informatics and FINA – Financial Agency have successfully completed the second cycle of the FINA Academy in the field of application testing. This year as well, the program provided students with the opportunity to gain practical knowledge and experience by working with industry experts. The Academy program was held during March and April, and through a series of expert workshops and practical assignments, participants developed competencies in software testing, test automation, and performance testing of applications.

At the University of Zagreb, Faculty of Organization and Informatics, a kick-off conference for the three-year research and innovation project HeyAIde – Health Empowerment for You through AI Direct Engagement was held on April 29, 2026. The project is led by BIT4BYTES Ltd., in collaboration with partners FOI, Revent Smart Ltd., and ValMod Center, with the goal of researching and developing innovative smart solutions for personalized remote patient monitoring, consultations, and therapies.
