We cordially invite you to submit research papers and to attend the 31st Central European Conference on Information and Intelligent Systems - CECIIS 2020. Also, we invite all authors to communicate with us all their needs for further deadline extension: ceciis2020@foi.unizg.hr. We would like to remind all authors about the possibility to publish their reviewed and accepted papers also in Croatian language. The special emphasis of this year Conference is on "Intelligent Systems - Trends, Future, Society". A new agreement with the Italian University of L'Aquila
In December 2019, a delegation from the Faculty of Organization and Informatics visited the University of L'Aquila, Italy, by the invitation of Professor Henry Muccini. The visit resulted with in the signing of a co-operation agreement under the Erasmus+ mobility program.

Faculty of Organization and Informatics Day 2019.
The ceremony to mark the Day of the Faculty of Organization and Informatics, University of Zagreb was held on Wednesday, December 18, 2019 at the Croatian National Theater in Varaždin. The ceremony marked the 57th anniversary of the Faculty and the 45th anniversary of the founding of the Faculty, regarding the transformation of the former Higher School of Economics in Varaždin into the Faculty of Organization and Informatics.
B.A.R.I.C.A.- Artificial Intelligence chatbot developed as FOI student's assistance
A team of scientists and students from the Faculty of Organization and Informatics in Varaždin (FOI), headed by Assoc. Prof. Markus Schatten, Ph.D., created B.A.R.I.C.A. - an Artificial Intelligence chatbot designed to be an assistant and to help college students, providing them with useful information about a classroom position, professors or schedule.
