Full Prof. Nina Begičević Ređep, PhD visits Fukuyama University in Japan

Full Prof. Nina Begičević Ređep, PhD, Head of Strategic Planning and Decision Making Laboratory at Faculty of Organization and Informatics (FOI), and Sabina Rako, Assistant Director and Head of the Service Development and Management Sector at SRCE (University Computing Centre), visited Fukuyama University in the city of Fukuyama, Japan, in April 2025.

During the visit, they met with Yutaka Otsuka, President of Fukuyama University, to discuss potential collaboration between Fukuyama University and the University of Zagreb's Faculty of Organization and Informatics as well as the University Computing Centre.

Founded in 1975, Fukuyama University is a private university consisting of five faculties, fourteen departments, and four graduate schools, with approximately 4,000 students. Notable faculties include the Faculty of Engineering—featuring departments such as Smart System, Architecture, Computer Science, and Mechanical Systems Engineering—and the Faculty of Economics, which includes the Departments of Economics, International Economics, and Tax and Accounting.
