On Tuesday, May 13, 2025, FOI was visited by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Arif Akgul from the partners’ institution Indiana State University, Terre Haute, USA. The professor is a Fulbright scholar at the University of Zagreb. The guest was hosted and greeted by the Dean of FOI, Prof. Dr. Marina Klačmer Čalopa, Prof. Dr. Violeta Vidaček Hainš, Head of the Office for International Cooperation FOI Izabela Oletić Tušek nd Dr. Damir Vučić.
The aim of the visit is to continue and expand the existing cooperation between the University of Zagreb, Faculty of Organization and Informatics Varaždin and Indiana State University, College of Arts & Sciences, School of Criminology and Security Studies.
The possibilities of expanding the existing cooperation were explored during the meetings. Specific activities and guidelines for further networking were discussed.
